My Head is an Animal: Self-Portrait Workshop

The workshop proposes the construction of images from introspective exploration and investigation. Students will initiate a photographic project in various forms of self-portrait that respond to the necessities, concerns and obsessions of every student.

Training the Gaze – Free Youth Workshop
with Las Fotos Project (Los Angeles)
Las Fotos Project is a tutoring program that helps young women exercise critical thought about visual communication and media literacy through a series of professional development programs. This program is open to youth, boys and girls between 12 and 17 years old.
We will also be screening short films made on super-8 and 16mm film made by Los Angeles youth from the Echo Park Film Center.
