 Photobook Production Workshop w/Alex Dorfsman

In this workshop we will analyze the process of making a photobook, from its conception, edition, material selection, printing, management and circulation, among other matters. The workshop facilitator will share his own artistic and creative process, exemplified using published photobooks, his own personal notes and collages, and one-of-a-kind books edited by himself.

About the workshop facilitator:

Alex Dorfsman has participated in individual and collective exhibitions in Mexico, U.S.A, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Russia, Chile, New Zealand, Singapore, Korea and Hong Kong. His photographic work has been published in diverse editorials in Mexico and abroad. His work is part of public and private collections incluiding the Museo de Arte Moderno MAM (Mexico City), Museo de Arte Contemporáneo MARCO (Monterrey, Mexico), Fundación Televisa (Mexico City), Purificación García (Spain), Art Museum of the Americas (Washington D.C.), Museum of Photographic Arts MOPA (San Diego CA), Alumnos 47, Centro de la Imagen (Mexico City), Fototeca Nacional de México, among others. He is currently a member of the National System of Creators of FONCA.
